The best thing about writing the best Android game titles of the week every Sunday is that it gives us reassurance that there’s a lot of fun on the horizon – and usually a lot closer.
Touchgrind Scooter is a nice surprise, promising another dose of finger fun in 2021, when we absolutely can’t wait to get our hands on Prizefighters 2, not much more than a week from now.

The Touchgrind series has been around for a long time – since 2009, in fact, when the first Touchgrind appeared and revolutionized the genre of skating with an ingenious two-finger touch input method. The series has stayed on top, so the Touchgrind Scooter announcement is one to celebrate.
Prizefighters 2 was announced last month, and it’s already on its way. While it looks a lot like Punch-Out !!, the old boxing game of the NES era, Prizefighters 2 is a much more sophisticated beast. It not only simulates fights, but entire careers, with training regimes, age-related decline, and superb ring-hitting action.
Princess Connect! Re: Dive is absolutely huge in Japan – so big, in fact, that it spawned its own spinoff anime series. This colorful action RPG allows you to party, complete quests, engage in PVP matches, and more. Pre-registration is ready to open any minute, with rewards available commensurate with the number of registrations the game attracts.
If you’ve come across any déjà vu, that’s because we recently covered another huge Dead Cells – Legacy update. This one updated the mobile version with the PC and console versions, while this upcoming DLC - Fatal Falls – adds entirely new elements in terms of biomes, enemies, and more. Unfortunately, it is not yet known when the DLC will be available on Android.
Google announced the winners of its 2020 awards. Genshin Impact was the biggest winner, unsurprisingly, with two awards to its name (best game and one of the five most innovative games). Meanwhile, Dream League Soccer took home the User Choice Award.
Square Enix really enjoys remastering things. The latest project is SaGa Frontier Remastered, an updated version of the very first SaGa game to be released in the United States. Although it was released in 1998, SaGa Frontier was ahead of its time, with multiple endings, optional quests, and branching storylines.
Updates
25 billion lemmings have been saved in Lemmings: The Puzzle Adventure, the reimagined version of the early ’90s puzzle classic from Psygnosis. To mark the occasion, or maybe just coincidence, it just received 250 new levels, eight new tribes, and 32 new characters in an update.
Spider-Ham is back, voiced once again by comedian and actor John Mulaney. Kabam created an animated short to promote this latest cameo, while the game itself receives a Champion Challenge contest from John Mulaney in December, with Spider-Ham available for free to anyone who downloads the game between 7 and the 31st of December.
