Well, the headline pretty much covers the big news with this one. Contra Returns launched on the Google Play Store, bringing a modern reboot of the classic run-and-gunner into the palm of your hand.
As you can imagine, there are a lot of changes here. Perhaps the most interesting is the inclusion of a whole bunch of different PvP modes to the experience. They range from one-on-one duels to more complex 3v3 fort battles.
There’s a lot of solo and co-op stuff too, with a hardcore lifestyle and plenty of PvE action you can dip your fingers into while playing with a friend.
There are different heroes to choose from and envision around 200 levels of carnage to fight your way through. It sounds fun, quick, and a bit nostalgic too, we’re guessing.
