Disgaea RPG, the latest addition to the popular Disgaea tactical RPG series, mainly available on consoles and PC, arrives for Android on April 12. It’s next Monday.
Developed by ForwardWorks and brought to mobile by Boltrend, Disgaea RPG takes place in the Netherworld, “a place deeper than the deepest ocean and darker than the darkest cave.” The Netherworld is ruled by demons, monsters, and lords. Not a great vacation destination, but a solid setting for a video game.
Several protagonists of the Disgaea series will make an appearance, including Lahari, Lahari, Fionne, Etna, Adell, Mao, Valvatorez and Killia. Boltrend promises laughs and tears.
“Over-the-top” turn-based battles, “thrilling” stories, and familiar background music from the series are also promised. Fans of the series will be able to relive their favorite storylines, while newcomers will be able to experience the mythology of Disgaea for the first time.
You can pre-register for Disgaea RPG now. The pre-download is expected to go live at 1:00 a.m. PST, with servers following suit at 6:00 p.m.
