Pumpkinbutt’s Halloween Dream is a stylish one-finger platformer with a spooky feel that bounces you through a series of tricks. It’s stylish, entertaining, and about to get a number of holiday-themed levels. It’s a good time, we think you’ll agree.
The game sees you playing the titular Pumpkinbutt, a pumpkin farmer who after an explosion and a layer of ectoplasmic goo gets stuck in a dark world. To escape, you have to climb several levels. You tap to jump, choosing the perfect time to jump to the next floor.
Getting to the end of the level isn’t the only task here. There are glowing skulls to collect, and grabbing them all is quite a difficult test. Of course, you can control everything with just one finger, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a decent challenge here.
There are a lot of obstacles in your path, from spikes and pits to ghouls chasing you. This is a game all about timing, planning ahead and making sure your reaction times are up to par. And the latest update will add to that – not just with the new Christmas levels.
The update will also include improved level progression and an all-new Super Spire challenge. It’ll also change the regularity of the interstitial ads, giving you more time to jump with a big, silly grin on your face.
