Funko Pop! Blitz, the simple puzzle based on the popular Funko Pop! line of big-headed action figures, receives a crossover event with the ’90s school comedy Saved by the Bell.
Honestly, we’re starting to feel how easy it is for Funko Pop! Blitz to persuade us to write stories about it. After all, the game never really changes – but these pop culture partnerships are hard to resist.
Keen Saved by the Bell-watchers will be aware that this month saw the untimely passing of Dustin Diamond, who played Screech on the show. Naturally, Screech is available as a collectible character in the event, alongside Lisa Turtle, A. C. Slater, Jessie Spano, and Kelly Kapowski.
If you manage to get them all, you will also win the Ultimate Zach Morris Prize.
The minor gameplay issue in this event is that you need to place the Foam Finger items at the bottom of the screen, as the Foam Fingers represent the spectacle better than any other item.
The Funko Pop! The Blitz Saved by the Bell event will run from February 25 to March 3.
