Gwent: The Witcher Card Game – the popular CCG that started life as a diversion in The Witcher 3 – will get a huge free expansion in December, adding 70 new cards.
On December 8, the Way of the Witcher expansion will add dozens of faction-specific cards, as well as ten neutrals. The update will also introduce new mechanics and abilities, including a cool new feature called Adrenaline.
Just like the real hormone, adrenaline will be produced by specific configurations of cards, offering players new synergies. So on second thought, not much like the real hormone after all.
Prior to the expansion, you can pre-order several different bundles in the in-game store, which allows you to grab Way of the Witcher premium cards in Card Kegs, as well as the Alzur premium card and other useful magic titles.
