Machinka Museum is a puzzle with alien artifacts, now available on Android

The Machinka Museum, the Room-esque puzzle from Plug in Digital, is now available on the Google Play Store.

The game lets you solve environmental puzzles in a series of eerily silent and oddly decorated rooms in a museum. The main exhibit in this museum appears to be a collection of alien artifacts, and as you solve the puzzles they contain, you “uncover a story that spans a galaxy”.

The Machinka Museum is clearly derived, not only from the hall games, but from the witness and other environmental puzzles of this ilk. Plug the digital cops into that in the Google Play Store description, also throwing out Machinarium for good measure.

But these three games are amazing, so the Machinka Museum is on a good thing. The Steam version, released about a month ago, has “very positive” user reviews, although the Google Play version sits on a strangely low 2.5 / 5.

Either way, you can download it for free and try it out before paying $ 5.99 to unlock the full game.

The Machinka Museum is available on the Google Play Store at present.
