New Chinese trailer shows Apex Legends mobile gameplay

A new trailer uploaded by IGN China showcases much of the gameplay for the upcoming Battle Royale Apex Legends Mobile blaster. And it looks … well, it looks pretty much exactly what you’d expect from Apex Legends Mobile.

There are dropships, there are slips, there is an awful lot of racing and shooting people until they fall. But, since that’s what you want out of a pocket-sized Apex Legends game, we’re going to consider ourselves pretty darn happy.

The trailer appears to be made up of footage from the next edition of the game’s closed beta, which we plan to release anytime soon. And it reveals four new playable Legends. We’ll let you watch the trailer and then get back to it.

Have you seen them? The new additions are Revenant, Crypto, Mirage, and Pathfinder. This brings the game’s roster to 12, with the original eight – Bloodhound, Lifeline, Bangalore, Gibraltar, Wraith, Caustic, Mirage, Octane and Wattson – from the first beta.

There was some dismay over the over-the-shoulder view that the trailer shows. What do you think? Will this help the game or make it a bit too similar to other mobile shooters?

We’ll keep you posted as we learn more about the launch of Apex Legends Mobile to the world. Waiting, here are other shooting games you would like to play.
