NieR Reincarnation is available for pre-registration in Europe and North America

Following last week’s announcement that English localization is complete on NieR Reincarnation, the game is now available for pre-registration in much of the Western world.

In case you haven’t followed it, NieR Reincarnation is a sleek, ethereal RPG set in a place called The Cage. It begins when a girl wakes up in an “infinitely large”, ICO-like environment filled with huge vaulted buildings.

Guided by some sort of ghost character called Mama, you must explore this strange world while avoiding the grim attention of the Black Monster, who looks both like an armored knight and a “speechless bug”. There is a cross between these two things, to be fair.

Battles take place either manually or automatically, making NieR Reincarnation accessible to newcomers and challenging for experienced players, depending on the situation.

NieR Reincarnation is led by Daichi Matsukawa, who announced the completion of the localization process last week, and creatively led by Yoko Taro, the guy behind NieR and NieR: Automata.

No sign of a release date yet, but you can pre-register for NieR Reincarnation on the Google Play Store now.
