PAC-MAN GEO – not to be confused with Pac-Man AR, the next Square Enix Montreal game – has just been updated to version 2.0.
As befits a jump from one integer to another, the update is substantial. And the biggest new addition is Round the World Mode, which lets you experience 24 mazes based on real world maps from around the world.
The update also adds a few new consumable skills including Repel, Vacuum, and more. Bandai Namco offers five free uses of vacuum as a sweetener.
In case you are unfamiliar with it, PAC-MAN GEO is a Pac-Man game that lets you play mazes based on data from Google Maps. This means you can munch on electric pills around the Arc de Triomphe, swallow ghosts in Times Square, get fatally cornered in Shibuya, Tokyo, and more.
You don’t have to trust these iconic places, of course. You can create a map of anywhere, including streets around your own house.
You can download PAC-MAN GEO for free now on the Google Play Store.
