Puzzle Quest 3 is coming to the Google Play Store in Early Access

Puzzle Quest 3, the highly anticipated second sequel to 505 Games’ puzzle-RPG, is now available on Android in Early Access.

Story-wise, the game sees you attempting to save the world of Etheria through match-three magic. The description of the Google Play Store promises among other things “fully realized 3D graphics”, hundreds of quests and a variety of dungeons.

There are several hero types to choose from, including Paladin, Berserker, Shaman, Assassin, and Necromancer. These all come with their own unique abilities and attributes.

In addition to a single-player campaign, there’s real-time PvP and co-op in alliances with up to three friends.

In case you’ve never played a Puzzle Quest game before, the idea is that you have to match gems to gain mana and action points in order to hurt your enemy in battle. It’s a neat mechanic that adds a combative dimension to the match-three format.

You can download Puzzle Quest 3 from the Google Play Store at present. However, this is an early access version, so you will likely run into some bugs.
