Want to hang out with people and create games, hats, and stuff while you do it? Well, that’s sort of the idea behind Rec Room, which just launched globally on Android.
The platform has already been released in many other places – iOS, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC via Steam, and VR – so it’s nice to see that it’s finally arrived on Android.
You can just hang out and have fun if you want, playing weird and wonderful games created by the platform community. Or you can jump into the Maker Pen and create your own.
It all looks a bit goofy and cool and a bit adorable too. And making your own games seems like a better way to waste your time than staring at a screen and matching colored spots with other colored spots.
