Tender: Creature Comforts, from Peak’s Edge developer Kenny Sun, is an upcoming dating sim that manages to be completely unscathing. Like Hatoful Boyfriend, he achieves this by taking humans out of the equation.
Instead, you’re trying to team up with different aliens, monsters, and animals. Tender (a play on Tinder) is a storytelling game that you experience through a dating app style interface with countless branching scenarios.
The game has hundreds of different profiles to browse or tap, and a chat tool that lets you get to know your potential life partners. There is also a calendar so you can keep up with your busy romantic schedule.
Tender: Creature Comforts is a departure for Kenny Sun, who tends to tamper with puzzle games. Fittingly, he partnered up for the project, with writer Gideon Lazarus and artist Jie En Lee.
It’ll be a premium download when it arrives on April 21, and you can pre-register now on the Google Play Store.
