The 8-bit Tcheco platform in Lucio’s castle arrives on Android this week

Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio, Fantastico Studio’s idiosynchratic 8-bit platform, hits the Google Play Store this week. Specifically, it happens tomorrow.

Already available on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch, Tcheco in the Castle of Lucio is a retro-platform that “encourages rapid thinking, platform precision and memorization”. It seems difficult.

There are two game modes: Classic and Try Harder. They see you both making your way through 65 increasingly difficult rooms. The trailer features a degree of variety, with edgy bits, football bits, swim bits and even a bit of a jetpack.

Reviews of Tcheco in Lucio’s Castle on Steam are “very positive”, and reviews elsewhere seem pretty strong at a glance.

Fantastico Studio hasn’t revealed the price, but we expect Tcheco and Lucio’s Castle to be a premium version when it arrives tomorrow. Considering that it only costs 99c on Steam, however, it probably won’t break banking on mobile.
