Amanita Design, the studio behind acclaimed fantasy adventure games like Machinarium, Botanicula and the Samorost series, has revealed that the original Samorost is coming “soon” to Android.
It looks like Amanita Design is counting down when it comes to the mobile versions of Samorost. The second game hit the Google Play Store last November, well after the third. The first will complete the collection.
Samorost was first released in 2003, making it one of the first games to feature Amanita Design’s distinctive ethereal aesthetic and original puzzle-adventure gameplay.

As for the gameplay, Samorost sees you solving some pretty abstract puzzles in an effort to prevent a spaceship from crashing into the home planet of the game’s gnome protagonist.
We don’t know how much Samarost will cost when it hits the Google Play Store. Samorost 2 normally costs $ 2.99, but is currently on sale for 99c, while Samorost 3 is currently reduced from $ 4.99 to $ 1.99.
