The post-apocalytic adventure away: Lone Sails is coming to Android this year

Far: Lone Sails, the PC and console adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic wilderness, is coming to Android later this year.

Originally conceived as a student project in 2015, Far: Lone Sails is a widely acclaimed title that lets you pilot an unusual vehicle through endless wasteland. You view the action from the side and the goal is to keep your vehicle running and intact.

This involves going from one section to another, adding fuel to the boiler, pressing buttons, tinkering with the engine, repairing damage, putting out fires, etc.

As you navigate the empty landscape, you’ll collect upgrades, solve puzzles, and more.

Far: Lone Sails was nominated for a number of awards in 2017 and 2018, in addition to having the distinction of almost making Scottish video game comedian and streamer Limmy shed a tear.

The game has an October 1 release date for iOS, but there’s nothing concrete for Android. You can pre-register for Far: Lone Sails here.
