Unmemory is a “text-based mystery” that channels Device 6 and the Black Bar, coming soon to Android

Unmemory is touted by developer Patrones y Escondites as: “A game you can read. A book you can play. In other words, it’s a puzzle that involves a lot of reading.

Obviously inspired by groundbreaking mobile titles like Device 6, Blackbar, and Her Story, it lets you sort through various media – written, audio, and visual – in order to identify your girlfriend’s killer.

The problem is, you are suffering from severe memory loss, adding Memento to the stack of esteemed inspirations. Not only do you have to find out the murderer, but you have to find out yourself. It takes place in the 90s, like Memento.

Unmemory is an extremely promising prospect for fans of innovative and cutting edge game design. It’s due out on October 13, but you can pre-register now on the Google Play Store.
