Everything is happening in Pokemon City this week, with announcements on Pokemon GO Fest, new upcoming additions to Pokemon GO, gameplay adjustments compatible with Covid, and a new Pokemon puzzle.

Since Covid-19 chased us all inside, Niantic has made changes to Pokemon GO to allow players to get the most out of the game without having to go out. The last of these measures, coming soon, are free boxes and daily meetings.

Pokemon GO Fest is going to be different this year, for obvious reasons. Previous events have taken place in Chicago, Dortmund and Yokohama. This year it takes place in your home, with all kinds of quests and activities planned for the weekend of July 25 and 26.

NetEase and Warner Bros., who have previously collaborated on the Harry Potter franchise and are working together on a new Lord of the Rings mobile game.
