Android Game Titles: Disgaea RPG, PUBG: New State, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and more

The mobile is full of surprises. Several games have managed to sneak up on us this week, including a new Android game Disgaea, a new puzzle from Rovio, and a smooth launch for Supercell’s Clash Quest.

Meanwhile, PUBG: Mobile has turned the tide on its upcoming limited open beta, revealing that it will take place at some point over the next three months. But we don’t know where. We recommend keeping your fingers crossed, but it probably won’t help.

For the best new android games this week, check out the companion Saturday of this article.

The latest Disgaea game is a mobile title. Disgaea RPG, coming to the Google Play Store tomorrow, will let you venture into the deepest and darkest underworld to take on demons, monsters, and other horrific jerks. Series protagonists like Mao, Killia, Etna, Adell and others are also expected to make an appearance.

PUBG: The developers at New State took a moment this week to brag about their game’s final pre-registration step. Over 10 million enthusiastic gamers have now signed up – pretty impressive considering the game is not even available in India, PUBG’s biggest marketplace. Additionally, we have a Q2 release window, which means the gradual launch will begin before July.

Rovio surprised us this week by launching an open beta of Supernatural City, an all-new laid-back storytelling puzzle available in select regions, including the United States. In the game, you play three sections of the Toon Blast-esque match as you progress through the story of a girl called Ellie Delmar who searches for her father while finding out that she can see the dead.

It wasn’t until last week that Supercell announced Clash Quest, and it’s already available on a phased launch. Clash Quest is one of three Clash projects in the works, a turn-based tactical adventure strategy game in which you have to jump from island to island, casting familiar spells on familiar enemies. Reviews to date are positive.

There’s a new protagonist in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and with it a whole new way to play the game once you’ve reached the end with Miriam. Zangetsu is a samurai warrior who wields a legendary sword, daggers, and a grappling hook. He is also voiced by the guy who plays Solid Snake. Not bad for a freebie.

There is no shortage of Walking Dead games on mobile and The Walking Dead: Survivors looks like a solid addition to the canon. This genre-straddling strategy game lets you build your resort, defend it against waves of undead attackers, explore your surroundings, harass other players, and more.
