Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Madness arrives on mobile in September

Publisher Kongregate has announced that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Madness, an RPG based on the bizarre 90s cartoon franchise, will arrive on mobile in September.

Developed by Synapse Games, TMNT: Mutant Madness will allow you to acquire heroes and upgrade them to oppose a cast of villains.

The central villain of the franchise, of course, is an angry pink piece called Krang who lives in the belly of a giant. It is harder than it seems.

In addition to building an army, you will improve your turtle lair and learn new skills, which makes TMNT: Mutant Madness look like a fairly generic gacha RPG, although you can count on surfing, pizza, competent turtles in martial arts to add a pinch of magic.

TMNT: Mutant Madness will be free as soon as it arrives on the Google Play Store this fall.
